The Metropole Hotel in central Llandrindod is a historic hotel that is hosting our conference activities, and also has a substantial amount of half-board accommodation currently set aside for delegates at a reduced rate. The hotel dates from 1860, and was built before most of the town… which explains why the back is much grander than the front, because the main road through Llandrindod ended up being a different one! It has a spa, a gym, an indoor swimming pool, and an elegance that is hard to find in a modern building!

Accommodation is available at the hotel, and is available at a reduced rate, with rooms set aside for delegates until early March. If you wish to stay there, please book accommodation directly through the hotel, quoting the code ……. . The accommodation includes bed, breakfast and the excellent evening meal, together with all the hotel facilities.

Alternative accommodation is widely available in the town, from hotels like to the Commodore and Highland Moors, to rooms at the historic Llanerch Inn, and cosy Bed & Breakfasts like The Cottage and Greylands. There are also a wide range of holiday lets in the area, together with an extensive range of AirBnB venues and campsites, so there should be somewhere to stay for all budgets. If you are struggling to find anywhere to stay in the local area, please contact the organisers, and we will try to help.
The conference dinner is included in the cost for those staying at the Metropole, but will be extra for those staying elsewhere: please contact the Metropole to book a place!
